Inspections

New installations purchased from reputable suppliers can be considered safe and reliable once they are properly installed. Aging, unprofessionally executed expansions and other changes are the main reasons they can become unsafe. This, together with the fact that these changes often go undocumented and are not updated in their respective drawings, makes older installations unclear and difficult to manage.

Buildings get new users on a regular basis, however it is rare to find organizations that do regular  checks to ascertain if the installation is suitable for the needs of these new users. The purpose of a periodic inspection of installations is the timely recognition of deviations that could lead to dangerous situations.

CECC can offer you a variety of Inspections including:

  • Functional tests & commissioning
  • Safety Inspections
  • Thermal Inspections
  • Independent ‘third party’ inspections (insurance/law firms)
  • Explosion Hazardous Environment Inspections (ATEX/ CompEx)
  • Home Inspections
  • Second Opinion Inspections
  • Due Diligence Inspections
  • Compliance Inspections
  • Energy Inspection

The inspection consists of a visual check after which, testing and measurement checks are conducted. With an extensive knowledge base and over three decades worth of experience, CECC is your partner for conducting inspections on all kinds of installations; electrical, mechanical, AC/ ventilation and more.

We pay special attention to hazardous situations that could lead to fire or personal injury, like bad wiring (high leakage of current), incorrect protection (overloading), bad connection (electric discharge) and overheating.

Our electro technical inspections are usually done in accordance with the technical guidelines in NEN 1010 / NEN 3140 / NEN-EN 50110-1. By having these inspections done you can guarantee the safety within your building and support this with a clear report on the status of your installation. In accordance with the wishes of the customer, other inspection guidelines can also be used of course.
